Apart from being great tracks full stop these are also different enough from the YFOC tracks to make this a really worthwhile buy in itself, no rip off release to cash in on our Fall fanatics. Doubly so as it makes the Record Shop Day collectible tracks available digitally to those who missed out on the limited 1,000 as well as to those of us who hold the vinyl version precious.

As the song states - "I'm not from Bury" - though I do find myself living there these last 15 years and I love the perversity that the Record Shop of that town (Vibes) didn't get any copies of this to sell, the title allied to the fact that it must also be the closest music shop to MES' Prestwich homelands. Piccadilly Records might argue that point but you can't park so easily in M'cr.

"Bury" doesn't do the muddied watered intro so you're straight into the song, I cannot say that is is for better or worse as how ever Mark produces a song he always manages to do so to the maximum effect is derived. So yes it's better, straight for the jugular. No it's worse, the first 1.40m of the album is like bursting for a pee (touch sensitive!)and the relief is great with the driving, clear switch.

"Gregori" ain't "George" either.

John
