Ok, so I hate authors. Really really really :P I don't like cliffhangers. I don't like waiting. I resisted the urge for so long not to read this, I wanted to wait until Dawn of Ash and Crown of Cinders then read one after the other. But I made the mistake of re-reading the earlier ones after seeing things written and I couldn't remember enough about the stories to comment. Big mistake. Now I am back to waiting again :P
Burnt devotion is written from different points of view and I didn't think I would like them, but I do. I get to see more than one persons thoughts and reason for actions.
Needless to say it sucked me in and now once I read Dawn of Ash I will be back to waiting :)

When i first picked up this book i was a bit worried as it was covering stuff we already knew and events that had already happened, but the author did in a good way, she gave it from 4 others pov's and It was good to get them, i definatly looked at things slightly different after reading this book. it wasnt all cut and dry and there are a couple of twists in this book that surprised me. I HAD THE BIGGEST SMILE ON MY FACE BECAUSE OF RYLAND AT THE END THOUGH. But wow that wasnt what i expected form Sain. you knew he was hiding something but just wow!! cant wait for the next book to be released.

At first when I saw that joc or iilyan had barley any chapters in thier point of view I got a bit worried that I wouldn't enjoy the book, but I thought that it flowed really well, and as they were present in the story line even though it wasn't in thier view it made up for it. Now I'm only sad that I read it too quickly and it's gonna be a wait until the next book comes out !!! LOVE THIS SERIES SOOOO MUCH <3

Half the book covers what was covered in Book 4, but from the perspective of other characters. While this is interesting, the story itself only moves forward once you are halfway down the book. The sight is broken and more surprises await. Waiting for the final book
