Iris has the third fire in her apartment when she meets Riley, firefighter. Riley feels a connection but not sure about how he feels about a possible firebug or any relationship. Riley is a sweet, down to earth man who is cautious in giving away his heart.
Iris is a travel agent who has had a vagabond childhood and is sweet open and loving.
Two angels in heaven, Hildegard and Angelina, established and angel in training view a difference as to who Iris’ soulmate is. So we view the burgeoning relationship of Riley and Iris through the eyes of the angels and their burgeoning relationship.
Funny, sweet, and lovable couples with great secondary couples.
Great choice for a funny and sweet read with interesting and involved storyline.
It's a short story about how two people are nudged together by angels in heaven. They are soul mates, but the angels can't completely interfere because of our free will. I really liked how each chapter shows us what is happening between Riley and Iris and also shows how the angels react to their choices. It was nice to read about a guy who had issues with commitment since typically in romance books it is the woman that doesn't want to solidify a relationship. Fast paced and entertaining is the best way to describe it.
Fun, goofy story. I enjoyed listening to it.
The narrator did a decent job with the characters and voices.
