Well thought out and written. I like the fact the characters are true to life and a touch of humour makes the book a great read

4.0 out of 5 stars More than I expected 22 Oct. 2012
By Kerry Lynn - Published on Amazon.com

Endurance was my first read of Konrath/Kilborn and was hooked from page 1. That led me to Crouch and Serial Uncut where I
Discovered Jack Daniels and HAD to read that series. Since I blazed through those and still wanted more I purchased Burners assuming It would just be an okay read. While not the jaw dropping horror of their previous collaborations it is intense and keeps your finger on the next page button.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read for the Value 10 July 2013
By E. McPiggy - Published on Amazon.com

I like Konrath/Kilbourn for the most part, due to the suspenseful aspect, quick read and value. The short sentences almost make me visualize an old Mickey Spillane movie. Not sure of the collaboration with Perez, but I got Floaters to try another one (because I like the Jack Daniels character). Have liked his other collaborative writings better. Must admit though, Serial gave me the willies due to the graphic nature, but I guess if a book gives you the willies the writer would consider that a very good thing.

I read this out of sequence but it is a great mystrey by it self and introducing a new character in Alex Chapa who is a good for Jack. I never tire reading the stories about JAck she has become an amazing lady.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific Book 10 Nov. 2012

When I finished this book I started checking other books that these two authors wrote. I really enjoyed the book. Jack and Alex are really a good pair. I want to read more of their adventures.
