Besides being unbelievably accurate....mines definitely in the 6-10 seconds per year area.
The stop watch ease of use, legibility & sub second possibilities (are my fingers that fast ?) are a second feature I will use a lot.
Very rugged no nonsence construction with a strap gives you the confidence it will stay there. The actual metal seems to resist the every day use light scratches...any incurred look to be easy to polish out as the facets of the case & strap are well defined.
Quite a handsome piece of kit. That makes a real statement.
Not a dress watch.
Now looking at other Bullova for my family.
Well worth the relatively modest investment.
Then the replacement lands 5 days late and I'm a prime member but hey I was just glad to receive it,so I open box and yes you guessed it previously owned again as the crown was all the way in so watch was running and it had absolutely no protective film on it but the best part was the bracelet was missing about 5 links compared to previous watch so sent back again.
I have lost all faith in amazons quality control and there prime promises (been late a lot lately )
So my opinion is this ,only buy from a place that you can see its new because the watch is beautiful and worth the price but unfortunately now I have to buy elsewhere.
Did I mention how smooth the movement of the second hand is as it glides around the face!! Oh yes and this is a precisionist which is currently the most accurate watch in the world. The box it comes in is a bit disappointing but what the heck, with money you have saved you could have one made. Although it is not sold as a divers watch, it is capable of a depth of 300 metres and has a screw down crown, so when you jump in the pool with it still on you wont have to worry, just enjoy the moment when you get out the water and someone notices it! An excellent work of art and engineering, so enjoy.
In summary very poor quality control for what is otherwise a quality product.
Everything that has been said about the size and weight are fully justified, though I am guessing many of us are buying it for its size.
What I would say is give the watch some time. I would say it was a month before I was accustomed to the weight.
The quality and durability seems well up to what should be expected. Mine shows no sign of wear or scratched despite a number of abrasive scuffs and is worn daily.
A love the watch but have reduced it to 3 starts, I did think about 2 as above all else it is a watch. And whilst it maintains time accurately. reading the time is often near impossible.
If you look at ALL the pictures of this watch any glare is removed and the hands are clearly seen. In real life this is far from true.
Stealing a quick glance at your watch in a meeting will be a thing of the past on most occasions.
At night it is useless, I have no idea why no illumination was not placed on the hands or even a motion activated light as many far less expensive timepieces offer.
I like the way it looks on my wrist, can’t say I’ve experienced a flood of people commenting on how beautiful it is, maybe I live in a different world.
For all the negative things I have said I am considering buying the sports version now for use in the gym.
So I guess I do like it.
