My son is nine and has ASD, so I'm aware of the potential for bullying in the future. This is a great book for increasing resilience in children. It does have examples of situations for boys and girls (although the cover does make it look as if it's aimed at boys). My son liked the multiple choice 'what would you do' quizzes because the options were funny. He enjoyed this book and enjoyed telling me all about it. He doesn't think it will make him more able to stand up to bullies (he's already very good at this) , but I think it will have helped him identify some situations that he wouldn't have particularly noticed were a problem in the past. A main issue has been 'friends' who are bullies - so this is a great resource for showing how some people you may think of as friends are actually bullies in disguise. I would say this is suitable for 8+

Love it, practical advice, easy to digest, fun to read with great graphics and simple tatics for dealing with tricky situations and people everywhere. Recommended read for anyone whom is struggling with a situation, covers all angles and levels of dealing with things and is across the board in age range for reading, from young to old, as an adult even I have gained from reading it.

A good read which has now passed into the school library. My son was about nine when he read it and it helped him to understand a few things

This is an excellent little book full of sensible ideas/thoughts/reflections. Young people who have/are experiencing difficulties in friendships or actually being bullied will find much to identify with and hopefully find some comfort of shared experiences. A good way of helping a young person to open up and talk about it.

My son love the book. Very useful advice not only how to deal with bullies but also how to think positive and how to deal with anger. Easy to understand for 10 years old.

Didn't know what to do to help my nephew, so I bought him this. He found it really useful, and it helped him know he wasn't the only one who felt like that. We'd recommend it to others.
