About the Author

Jade C. Jamison was born and raised in Colorado and has decided she likes it enough to stay forever. Jade's day job is teaching Creative Writing, but teaching doesn't stop her from doing a little writing herself. Unfortunately, there's no one genre that quite fits her writing. Her work has been labeled romance, erotica, suspense, and women's fiction, and the latter is probably the safest and closest description. But you'll see that her writing doesn't quite fit any of those genres. You'll have to discover Jade's writing for yourself to decide if you like it.

I can't believe this book has such high reviews. It is very well written, I can't fault that, but the main character Valerie is so weak and literally spends about 5 years chasing after a dude who consistently treats her like crap and cheats on her.

Half way through I had to skip to the end as I couldn't bear to witness the catastrophe that was this relationship.

I very much welcomed the ending, but felt it could have been explored a bit more. I would recommend reading this if you like books about weak women and men with issues.

BOOK REVIEW: Bullet - Jade C Jamison

Are you Readdddddddddy...?
It's time to throw up the horns ladies, as `Bullet' is Hard Hitting, Hot Rockin,' Body Slammin,' Head Bangin,' Mind-Blowingly Amazing and will ROCK your pants off!

I'm gushing. I'm hugging my kindle right now, beaming with what I can only describe as total pure book euphoria.

Have you ever read a book and just thought, `Wow, I feel like the author wrote this book just for me?' Well... Bullet, for me, is that book!

There are two mainstay consistencies in my life, one is the love of reading, and two, is my total passion for Rock Music. Bullet incorporated everything I love, it hit every damn nerve - to put it simply, it rocked my world!

And, I will tell you why...

IT'S REAL! IT'S AUTHENTIC! AND TOTALLY BELIEVEABLE!

This isn't just another' Rock Star book; it symbolizes the strife, the struggles, the passion and full on intensity of life on the road. The Hunger and gruelling sacrifices of making something from nothing, when all you have is solid self-belief and friends who share a dream that reflects your own.

But first and foremost, it's the tale of one young girl, Valerie Quinn, whose life took a new direction, the moment she stepped into History class as a freshman at college, when she set eyes on the most beautiful boy on campus, Ethan Richards - how her life went from an innocent, virginal, church going Christian, to a striving rock star as fate dealt it's hand and everything in her life as she knew it, changed irrevocably. How one small-town girl was catapulted into partaking a journey of a lifetime.

And Holy leather hot pants of metal lovin' doom, what an epic tale it was.

I read this book as someone recommended it on Facebook, I'm not into rock or metal but I am into a capturvating story, with romance angst and a brilliant erotic story line! I thorouly enjoyed this book and it ticked all the boxes! At times I found myself frustrated with val and furious with Ethan, and I cheered her on with brad and jet, but I did hope and pray she came to her senses and chose the right rock star in the end, which thankfully she did!! And that's what a great story and great writing does, this book was brilliant and I couldn't put it down! Definately recommend it.

Firstly I had never heard of this book until amazon UK recommended it to me so I thought what the hell?
This is a very raw and emotional story right from the get go and it goes from past to present in the most smoothest of ways!

Valerie Quinn is the leading lady of this story and its from her POV and is done with extreme raw emotions.....She comes from a religious background not belt tight but tight enough to know sex shouldn't be given to just anybody. She goes off to college and has her eyes opened wide when she meets Ethan and she quickly becomes friends with him and they form a tight friendship over the fact they both Love "metal" music and she gets to meet his band mates BRAD (oh lordy Lord!!) ZANE and NICK then over time she eventually falls deeply in Love with Ethan, Now throughout this story Ethan cheats and takes drugs and drinks in excessively and All the while Val is finding out she is and I loved when she met Jet/Clay (those scenes were HOT) :)
There's definitely some heart breaking moments in this book that made me think "Jesus" but I'm so glad I have this book a chance it's written beautifully and All the way through this story you'll be thinking Oh. My. God not again-You go girl-Kick his ass and Then the bigger question Does she stay with Ethan?????

The ending was too short for my liking I wanted it to explore more and last a little big longer maybe we can get a Novella? :D that is the soul purpose I gave it 4out of 5stars.

I can completely understand the reviews that are wriiten here about why the hell Valerie put up with Ethans crap for so long. However I found the book a fantastic read. I loved the past and present chapters and thought it blended well throughout the book. I struggled with the times that val caught Ethan I the act of cheating, however the chapter when she agrees to marry him I could understand. Val was so scared that if she didn't agree to giving things another go with Ethan then she could potentially be resopnsible for him falling off the wagon again, I think she really believed he'd change. If anyone has ever delt with someone with addiction problems then you can almost understand the need to help them recover. I thought the book was well written and I was so glad with the ending...finally Valerie gets the life she deserves. I for one loved this book and will certainly recommend it to my friends.
