Well I have to say I was disappointed to read the poor reviews on this album, because I thought it was absolutely brilliant. In my opinion, the contemporary jazz style of Russ Freeman and the Rippingtons with orchestral tones has evolved to the next level. I have listened over and over to this album and have enjoyed every minute of it and am still enjoying it after 2 months

This is an enjoyable album, with many different styles, but, to my ears at least, it maintains the Rippingtons sound. I personally cannot see the hostility it has had levelled at it by other reviewers here.

This is the worse ripps cd I have heard. I have always thought the ripps were great , I went to the states just to see them live. Now ....I don't no what Russ freeman is on . 2 good tracks - 7 & 10 and that's it. I was going to back to the states to see them live again, I won't bother now . If you wont a good ripps cd - pick one of the old ones - , topaz ,let it ripp are great

Where are those Rippingtons back to the first 4-5 cds?. Those were great, built to last. I'm afraid that the direction that Russ Freeman has taken for the last projects is the opposite; they once were fresh, imaginative, exclusive, now they are my Rippingtons no more! By the way, production of this CD is awful, the sound is so bad,...
