This book is a great guide to practicing peace of mind, very good for beginners like myself. I have been interested in meditation for a while now and this book goes into great detail about meditation which I am very happy about. People need to be more aware about themselves and their lives and this book can really help you achieve that.

I knew the basic concept of Buddhism prior to reading this book, but didn’t know all of the history. This book gives such an excellent history of Budda, Buddhism, and all of the beliefs within Buddhism. While not a guide to how to practice Buddhism, this book does give great information on how to start meditating and living your life in a better way. I will definitely be reading this book again and would recommend this book to anyone.

I chose four stars because I felt it was a little short.
however. it trained my thoughts and kept my concentration.
I am now more knowledgeable .
