Product Description

This is part of the new Brunswick ukulele range, and offers brilliant value for money. The quality of construction and the level of finish are better than the price would lead you to believe, and fitted with genuine Aquila Nylgut strings, this sounds great - really pure and ringing, with a lovely brightness of tone. This concert model is similar in size and shape to a tenor ukulele.

Constructed from mahogany throughout, and with guitar-style binding and geared tuners, this uke comes with all the features you need, and would make a fantastic instrument for the serious learner. Very highly recommended!

Also available in Soprano and Baritone variants, as well as electro-acoustic concert model.

This is my first ukulele and has proved to be a very good choice. The tone is beautiful - almost lute-like - and the ukulele is finished well and balances nicely. The good-quality strings and the metal tuning heads means it holds its tuning very well.

I bought my Brunswick concert ukelele around 2 years ago, when I was looking for a decent starter instrument. I chose it because I'm a fan of the guitar-style uke and liked the build quality. At the time, the price was somewhat lower, but at todays price it would still be excellent value for money.

Pretty much everything about this uke is better than you would expect for the price - the tone is really bright and ringing, which suits me fine. Some may prefer the mellow sound of more traditional ukes, and I have an unusual Tenor that ticks that box, (Blue Moon F Tenor Ukulele GR3509) but this instrument suits modern repertoire perfectly, and plays and looks the part too. Although I bought this one only to get started, I still use it all the time, and its one of my favourite instruments.

Overall, this is highly recommended. Its really well built and set-up, has a great tone! At this price its a bargain.

I bought this as a present. I have a tenor ukulele but I've now realised that a concert model like this would have suited me fine.

This uke looks good. Somehow the mahogany finish and binding give it a retro feel. I was worried about buying a laminate top instrument at this price but it plays really well. It has more of a ukulele sound when strummed than my tenor uke but also sounds good when finger picked. It has sealed metal tuning pegs and after 2 days is holding its tuning quite well.

All in all I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this fine instrument. The person I've bought it for doesn't know about it yet. If I was really mean I could happily keep it for myself!

I am a total ukelele novice, but love the sound this instrument produces, it was recommended to me by a seasoned ukelele player as a good starting instrument. It arrived promptly and well wrapped.

As a beginner, I asked around about how much to spend, what make etc and Brunswick was mentioned. I went for the concert Uke because there is just that bit more room on the frets than on a soprano. I am very glad I bought it and am enjoying learning to play it - not too difficult if you already play guitar. Its so light and takes up less room, much more portable than a guitar, great for in our campervan. It is well made, stays in tune and sounds good and for just over £50, well worth it. I eventually bought one for my son for Christmas too.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect as have never owned a Brunswick instrument before. However, I am very impressed with this Uke. Well made and plays wonderfully.
