About the Author

Isa Bin Ibrahim was Secretary to the Brunei Delegation at the negotiations on the proposed Federation with Malaysia. He had a distinguished career in the Brunei Government Service, holding several key offices including Deputy Attorney General, Deputy Chief Minister, Special Adviser to the Sultan, General Adviser to the Sultan, Minister for Home Affairs and Speaker of the Legislative Council. A qualified barrister, he was educated at Southampton University and is an Honorary member of Magdalene College, Cambridge.
