I watched this one last night (after having recorded it from the horror channel) and was half-expecting this film to be just another low budget, poorly acted and generally all-round disappointing piece of garbage... BUT ... I was very very wrong. this film was just as good, if not better, than any that I have seen from the horror genre lately and is just a notch behind Martyrs and A Serbian Film for entertainment value.

The story may have be done in film many times before but here, and for the most part, it is actually quite believable in as far as you can imagine that what happens has actually happened to some poor soul(s) in reality.

The acting is surprisingly good and had me totally submersed from beginning to end. there's nailbiting tension, a sufficient amount of gore and you will no doubt find yourself rooting for the villain to receive their come-uppance unless you too are some kind of wacked out nutjob.

I would definitely recommend this film to all horror fans although not for your average teen 'Buffy' fan.

Nice.

Great setting throughout, beautiful woodland, or so it seems, apparently it was just a thicket, as explained on the extras on the dvd, which is kind of sad really, making it seem as though nowhere in the UK can you find a really secluded woodland that is actually far away from a road! Anyhow, to get to the movie's story, it was a shame they deleted the scene showing the woman driving her car with her daughter present also, and the man turning up in the middle of the road, making her stop the car, as it is it makes it seem as though she must have gone to bed and woken up in a box in the woods. It's only when watching the documentary on the dvd that one realises what actually happened.

I would have preferred it if the story had been centred around the first woman, rather than the character of Hope, I found her intensely irritating in the scenes in the restaurant with her 'date' where she was acting in a cringe-making coquettish manner, and even worse back in her home with her tell-all mentality giggling with her girlfriend who had babysat her kid. Her character started off by being such an irritating, silly woman, that it was hard to feel any sympathy for her character or to care much about what happened to her. As the movie progressed though, I did warm to her a little more, but not much, her acting seemed rather contrived and not exactly believable, but apart from that, I very much enjoyed the movie, I thought the hiding of a certain object inside people's bodies (which they have to dig out to enable escape) was similar to in the "Saw" movie, but this film was way, way better than "Saw" in my opinion, far more entertaining, and unlike "Saw", this was very visually beautiful to look at, owing to the lovely woodland setting.

Was this real t.v. ???? We have seen a few low budget novies in the past and some were not even worth watching. Hollywood can spend millions on a bad movie but this one shows you how to make a really good one for about a tenner.
Not a lot i can say without giving away any of the plot, not that there is really a lot of a story line and if you really like cringe factor horror that will make you squirm, Get It!

I will try not to give any spoilers, this film starts with the terror from the offset, and is relentless throughout most of the film, the film maker said it cost him ÂŁ5,000 to make I think in the documentary well its better than some multi million pound films, the bad guy is a total fruit and I think he loved his part, the leading lady is great hope to see her in more, the film is well worth watching and I hope the director and stars go far

I quite liked this film. Its about a woman who is abducted by a madman and her life following this. The film only centres around 2 main characters. The acting is quite good and there is an element of suspense to the film. However, I felt the film could have been made a bit more exciting with a more interesting storyline than the one used. The ending is quite good but I wont spoil the details here. I wouldnt pay full price for this film but its worth getting in the sale.

Yet another dismal low-budget torture gorno. Now I'm all for a bit of gore and cheap shocks. But I also want to be entertained. I'm afraid this is just boring. I did think my luck was in because the opening sequence is truly amazing! With some fine brutal gore FX. Sadly that is the highlight of the film. What follows is pure nonsense. The plot is unintelligent. Actually I tell a lie. What I was supposed to say is what plot? We see a woman on a date, next scene she in some woods being tormented by a mad man, without any explanation? For the next hour it's all crying and screaming. No character development is attempted. We are just required to watch the abducted woman clean pots and pans and tend to a vegetable patch, with occasional dim-witted dialog. Even when a school girl is added into the mix, you still don't get the satisfaction of knowing what the hell is going on? Directors Simon Boyes and Adam Mason clearly have woman issues. The two captive women are abused and treated like crap. And portrayed as dim-witted idiots, who don't even escape when they get chance. And don't think that the ending will clarify anything? Just know that this really is a meaningless pile of garbage.
