I am a big fan of Mary Ann Bernal. I have read her trilogy and The Briton and The Dane: Concordia. Each book holds its own special flow and The Briton and the Dane: Timeline is no exception. Action packed, this book will keep you interested until the very end. It contains, deception, drama, heartbreak, and restoration. I loved the ending!

Mary Ann Bernal's latest novel was an enthralling read. She writes with great passion and clarity which draws the reader into the world of The Briton and the Dane. Timeline is a romance novel with snippets of historical reference and masses of adventure. I loved reading Timeline and like all Ms Bernal's novels when the story ends you wish it hadn't. Loved the mixture of the past with the future - well done!

Ms. Bernal has written one of the most compelling and satisfying historical romance novels that I have read in a long time. Timeline has it all. History, mystery, intrigue, subterfuge, treachery and loyality. All combined with romance and true love. If historical background is important to you, read her trilogy first, but it isn't necessary. Timeline stands alone on it's own merit. I emphatically recommend Timeline to all lovers of historical romance.
Enjoyed the series

Bored and waiting...

This is how I felt throughout reading this book. I kept reading because of the only thing that was well developed--court intrigues! I waded through more implied data with no validation in fact! I was disappointed in the end. I felt I was left hanging!!! Some might enjoy a book of innuendos, I did not.

I felt there was to much historical detail and to little detail given to the characters. The ending did not make sense. Overall boring read.

The Briton and the Dane: Timeline

This book was very boring, and drawn out. It may have been historical, but I found no interest in it at all. Do not recommend this book for reading. It was not what I expected.
