Format: Paperback
I have visited a number of rock art sites and this book is just what I was looking for in order to evaluate other such sites for future visits to Britain. Stan Beckensall's book largely restricts itself to the known facts: descriptions, diagrams, photos and location details for the major British rock art sites with only a little speculation as to their origins and meanings, so he keeps the text firmly grounded in fact.
