A must for collectors or those wishing to buy (or sell) a No 4 or 5 Lee Enfield. It gives the usual brief history of the system but the real benefit is the detail it gives about the subtle difference between all the marks and variants. Each part of the rifle from barrel to safety catch had different characteristics dependant upon factory, country or date of production. Included are table of serial and markings of the variants and estimated production numbers. This book will assist in identifying genuine items from those cobbled together from bits and pieces. Other books may contain such data but not in such a compact form.

I don't know how 'the book community can justify charging GB£ 48.53 for a book that, according to its back cover, sells at US$ 19.95.
