5.0 out of 5 stars Great book about a great house 19 Oct. 2011
By Squirllvr - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
If you bought the book "Great Houses of Paris" and love it, then this book is a must buy for a more detailed look of one of the house featured in the previous book (Hotel de Charost). Bought from Pauline Bonaparte including the furnishing, the British really hit the jackpot because they contained some of the best example of Empire furnishing/decor.

This book contains an amazing historical account of the former home of Napoleon's sister, Princess Pauline Bonaparte Borghese, complete with historical architectural drawings and beautiful photographs to make a chronograph in pictures and words of a house most people could only experience in the world of books.
