Product Description

From the Author

Everything is set for another fantastic year in Britain's favourite long-haul destination and we have all the fun and excitement in store in the latest edition of the Brit Guide. Not only that, we also have the best advice on how to get the most out of it, at the best value and with something for everyone, cutting through the confusion and complexity in plain, easy to read style.

The introduction of our exclusive new Brit Bonus features means even more money-saving offers for our readers along with our great Partnership deals with discounts on things like car hire and excursions.

As we live just five minutes from Disney (yes, we liked the place so much, we moved here!), we are confident we have all the specialist 'insider' knowledge necessary to pass on the very best insight into everything that's here, and we have more than 20 years' experience of visiting the parks to back it up.

This is now the 17th edition of our Orlando guide and we continue to enjoy unprecedented reader feedback - and input - which, we believe, helps to ensure we stay the No 1 publication for this destination. No other guide is written with you, the British visitor, in mind and we sincerely hope you take us with you on your next visit to this holiday wonderland. You won't be disappointed.

I think it's a truly excellent guide. It's in full colour and I really enjoy getting the feel of the atmosphere from the pictures - hotels, restaurants etc.
The main point I would make, is that this book is FUN to read through and helps you to choose what's right for YOU. So that you have the best time of it all.

Simon and Susan do a great job and I've never been disappointed by what they have recommended. No, more than that I have always left Orland with the certain feeling that they have introduced me to yet another set of wonderful experiences.

Orlando is such a dynamic place that it needs real experts to sift through the good, the bad and the ugly! One thing I can tell you, is that they are quite right when they say, that there really is too much to do. And that the secret of having the best time in Orlando, is to use their Brit Guide at home to build your own personal To-Do-List. That way, everything you do is what you chose to do. That's what I do and I've always had a fantastic time

I have bought this book several times through the years - once even though I wasn't going. I like that it's always so up to date and I can read about all the new things that Simon & Susan have found for us during the year. I would recommend it most highly

Every year I eagerly await publication of the "Orlando bible", the Brit's Guide. Essential, unbiased reading for anyone contemplating a visit (be it for the first time or a repeat) to Orlando. Bit of a pity that things are changing so quickly there that some parts are out of date as soon as it is published but this does not detract in any way from the overall content. Beats competitors face down every time!

I bought this book after being lent the 2005 version by a colleague - the format is very user friendly, there is plenty of detail - down to car park prices and 'which parks are busiest on which days'. I am very much looking forward to my holiday next summer and this book has helped me to feel well prepared - I feel able to plan with almost military precision, whilst making it appear easy! The tips on websites for park tickets have proved very useful - it's an expensive holiday, but the savings in the book and the suggestions for saving money on park tickets are great. My only criticism would be that it doesn't cover Tampa airport in detail as an option of destination, but Orlando International and Sanford are well-detailed. Overall, a great book, definately recommended.

I've been to Florida before but seeing as it's going to be my partners first time I decided to get him this book for his birthday. He loves reading up on places and checking out where things are and stuff. Problem is he's not had a chance to even look at this book as I haven't put it down!!! Its a fantastic guide to whats about and some really amazing tips. A must have for anyone visiting Florida for the first time and for anyone who goes constantly!!! It's written very well and everytime time I pick it up I find yet another useful piece of info. The only time my partner is going to get to read it is on the flight over there!!!

I bought this guide after reading all the other fantastic reviews. My wife read it from cover to cover prior to our recent holiday in Orlando and I read sections while we were away. Either way it provided us with an amazing and in depth guide to everywhere we were planning on going, with plenty of tips and hints on getting the best out of our stay.

I would definitely buy an up to date copy of this book the next time we visit Florida and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive guide.

We have been to Florida twice before and I bought the edition of this book that was published those years which helped me plan for our trips. Simon is brilliant as everything he says in the book about the restaurants, the parks busiest times, the roads and driving tips and the shows has been fantastic advice. It is worth every penny if you are like me and like to be organised and clued up! We are going again this year and this book was one of the first things I bought for our trip. Read, note and enjoy the best holiday you can. This book will definitely be going with me and my family.

We bought this as return visitors to Orlando later in 2012. Also bought copies for all our wedding guests, many which are first time visitors. This book makes sense of the often confusing Walt Disney World and is highly recommended, particularly if you are new to Orlando and need some help where to start. Gives some good non-Disney/other parks advice too on accommodation, shopping, driving as well as less well known attractions.

Having browsed a few, this looks to us like the best guide out there. Probably why it is so widely recommended, as it was to us. Get your copy now and begin your next Disney countdown!!

Purchased this book to accompany us on our recent holiday to Florida. There were numerous guides in the Villa where we stayed but none came close to being as good as this. We were going to leave it there as we probably wont be going back for a couple of years but soon changed our minds when we realised how useful it was and could be in the future. The tips for theme parks, restuarants, shopping malls etc etc was absolutely spot on, and saved us time and money that would of paid for the book ten times over. We would strongly recommend buying this if you are planning a trip to Orlando.
