I really liked this small history of chocolate in the UK. I'm from the Netherlands, but also enjoyed it. It's especially a great book if you're a little older, because it brings back a lot of memories. I had a lot of fun looking at the photos. The book has been written with a bit of humour. It was nice to read about all the things chocolate brands were coming up with to conquer the market. This is not a book you should read when you don't have any chocolate, because it makes you want to eat one of those delicious chocolate covered bars. A Brief History of Chocolate would make a great gift, especially for those who have been born before 1980.

A great insight into what we used to enjoy as kids, especially the price on some of the wrapper. Brilliant

This is a history of chocolate in the United Kingdom but still a fun read. It reminds me of one of those old tv shows where they would show foreign commercials a lot of the items are familiar but the ads are different. Read as a netgalley copy.

Focused on chocolate in the UK, but a fun and quick read.

I lived in England in the very early 80's, and this book brought some great memories back and made me smile.
