About the Author
Karen King is a multi-published author of romantic fiction and children's books. She has published five romantic novels, 120 children's books, two young adult novels, and several short stories for women's magazines. 'The Cornish Hotel by the Sea', published by Accent Press, became an international bestseller, reaching the top hundred in the Kindle charts in both the UK and Australia, and #2 and #3 in Holiday Reads respectively. She is member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, the Society of Authors and the Society of Women Writers and Journalists. Karen now lives in Spain and intends to spend her time writing romances while her husband, Dave, grows vegetables and tends to the zillions of fruit trees on their land - when she isn't sunbathing or swimming in the pool, that is!

The story itself is mainly about Jess who is the "bridesmaid" of the title, and she is, as are all Karen King's heroines, fun, feisty and totally 'real' - I feel I would know her if I saw her in the street.
I can definitely recommend reading this book, perfect for a sunny day in England or on the beach.
