However that said, the image quality is not quite as good as my traditional microscope (which I replaced as the camera add on was extremely expensive, no move tray and the phone adapater was useless) and came with a European plug - not UK.
There is no fine adjustment for the stage making it very difficult to accurately identify cells and micro-organisms.
The whole item is so light and unstable that even the slightest touch on it or the bench it stands on will cause it to lose focus.
The resolution on the display cannot cope with the larger magnifications so a sharp image cannot be obtained. The same applies to the camera.
I feel this is more of a toy or something suitable for a child. This is not clearly stated in your listing
It has a continental power lead plug as opposed to a standard UK 13 amp one
The instructions are very brief and do not cover functions of the LCD monitor there is no software included for the PC.
On the positive side it good point is that it is from Amazon and can be returned
DOWNSIDE:- The microscope arrived when taking it out of the box the bottom part of the microscope was totally loose. I've tried tightening it up but will only tighten so far leaving a small gap. Then switching the bottom light on the light was very dim even on the highest level. So I removed the bottom section and checked all the connections. After doing this the light was working correctly. So this was a loose connection, I would say this has possibly happened in Transit. Overall I am pleased with the microscope but the quality isn't as good as other microscopes I have had.
It help me with my job.
