I was given an ARC of this in return for an honest review.

Hannah walker is starting her first year as a "visiting professor", she knows the local area, she has her friends and is waiting on her dream job at Wilmington College. Hannah has run from every serious relationship she has been in, earning her the name "Breeze".
That is until she meets Igor Finley". Finley has recently moved back to town after his last deployment, having been diagnosed with PTSD.

There are fireworks that neither can deny. Will Hannah live up to her nickname and float away chasing career goals or will she find her happy every with Finley?

One of the first things i do when i start a new book is to check out how many chapters a book it has, so i can decide how much time to set aside to read it. When i saw the chapter content, i very nearly didn't start it. That's a big commitment to a book! However, once i started i quickly realised that the chapters were relatively short and flowed into each other very well. So the chapters passed by quite quickly.

The story is well written and as mentioned before flows smoothly, making the story easy to follow. It's one of those lovely heart warming stories, that has just enough drama to keep you turning the page.

I would recommend Breeze to anybody who loves a well written romance.

For debut novel, Ashley has done a fab job!! I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next in the series!

I was given this book for a honest review
Igor Finley or Fin to his friends is an ex Marine suffering from PTSD and a single dad to two toddlers. After being discharged from the Corp he decides to go back to college and thanks to his friends is persuaded to take a psychology class.
Hannah Walker is the tutor of this class is holding out for her ideal job teaching by the coast. She wants this job and is not interested in an ideal relationship.
Unbeknown to them both they are friends with the same people and they just went them both to be happy.
From their first meeting they are attracted to each other but Hannah tries and fights it as he is her student.
This story is well written and the back story of Fin's PTSD is written sensitively. With Fin's history explained you can feel the turmoil of him falling in love but also trying to support her whilst she peruses her ideal career, knowing that him and his children could lose her soon.
This is a proper love story and I really enjoyed reading it. This book finishes with scope for more stories

I loved Breeze by Ashley Hampton.
It all starts out with Dr. Hannah who is starting her first year as a Visiting Professor at Thurston University Hannah is also a graduate from Thurston she is verycomfortable with the town.
She has friends, and has been waiting on her perfect job to have an opening at Wilmington College where she's dreamed about working at forever!
In all of her past romances, relationships she has ran away from to be able to pursuit her career goals and dreams.
She refuses to let anyone stand in her way but will Igor Finley be able to change all of that?
Or will it end like all of her previous relations, with Hannah running away once again.
Igor Finley just recently moved back to the town he grew up in after his latest and last deployment he was discharged do to his PTSD.
He's returning back to College to get his degree, to provide a better life for his two adorable children.
This book made me laugh, I cried, happy tears and sad tears.
If you're looking for a fun but semi emotional filled with some romance Ashley Hampton's Breeze is for you!

I loved Hannah & Finley's story! I was so hooked on these characters & the story that I really hated to adult! I just wanted to read! Hannah is such a likable character! She knows what she wants in life & goes after it! Finley is broken but an amazing person & dad! I feel in love with his little family!

I loved watching their relationship grow! It was nice to watch the love develop & not this "insta" love like so many books have! The story was great along with amazing secondary characters!

I loved this book & loved book #2 too! Can't wait for book #3!
