Book Description

The next wonderfully romantic read from MJ Summers, bestselling author of Break In Two

From the Back Cover

Seductive. Heartwarming. Passionate.

Luc Chevalier is a satisfied man - or so he thinks. His businesses are thriving, he has all the excitement, money and beautiful women any man could want. He dines at the best restaurants and stays at the most luxurious hotels as he makes his way around the globe. So why does he suddenly find himself so restless?

Megan Sullivan is a single mom with a rather ordinary life. She is comfortable with things just the way they are. She has a six-year-old son, Elliott, a cozy house in Boulder, Colorado, and a photography business to put food on the table. Her ex lives hours away in Florida, providing enough space for him to feed his drug addiction without exposing Elliott to his father's illness. Megan is on her own and she intends to keep it that way.

Megan is convinced by her best friend to take a trip to Paris for a few days. Little does she know she is about to be thrust into the arms of Luc Chevalier, the sexiest man to ever set foot on the Eiffel Tower. They agree to one night together and no more. In those few short hours he manages to draw out the passionate woman that Megan has carefully hidden way for years. Once she has a taste of what she's been missing, she finds it almost impossible to go back to her life as it was.

Will two people who don't believe in happily-ever-after manage to put aside their doubts and find their forever? Join Luc as he discovers that everything he never wanted is the only thing he will ever need.

Although this is the second book in the Full Hearts series, you do not need to read book one before you start reading Breaking Love, which is exactly how I have started this steamy series!

I must admit, that I didn't really have high expectations when I began reading this, not that they were low, it's just that I wasn't sure how this novel could be different from all the others. I am however pleased to say that Breaking Love more than exceeded my expectations and was proven very wrong in my predictions as to how it would go!

I absolutely loved MJ Summers story writing, she really manages to suck you in and I was actually quite surprised at how engrossing I found Luc and Megan's story.

Luc has it all. Money, cars, women and lives in Paris. You could say he is every woman's dream, but no woman has been able to get Luc to settle down; that is until he meets Megan. Megan is a single Mum and she isn't looking for love. Having been hurt badly before, she doesn't want to let another man come into her and her son's lives; but she hadn't banked on meeting Luc! Can two people who aren't looking for love, manage to see what is right in front of them?

This story also had a depth to it that you might not necessarily expect. Luc and Megan are both complicated characters and although this made for some great reading, at the same time it was frustrating. There were many times in this where I really wanted to bang their heads together at their stupidity and brought on self-misery. They infuriatingly keep denying their feelings for one another when it is so obvious that what they have is special.

Despite the occasional frustrations, this was an incredibly enjoyable read. It's steamy, it's romantic, it's full of drama and passion. A seriously engrossing, unputdownable read. I will now be backtracking and reading the first book in the Full Hearts series.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for and honest review. Megan is a single parent, due to having to leave her husband behind due to his drinking and drug habit. She has completely shut of from relationships to protect not only herself but also her son. She is never going to risk either her son nor herself being torn apart again.
Her best friend cajoles her into a trip to Paris and its there she meets the rich, arrogant self confessed womanising Luc Chevalier. Their connection and chemistry is so strong it takes both of them by surprise but decide that its ok to act on it, because she's only in Paris a few days, they are consenting adults and no one will get hurt nor attached. The perfect little fling. When Megan returns home, she can't get Luc out of her mind or her heart, but unknown to Megan, Luc is just as smitten and I loved how even though they were both denying love being involved, he showed in so many sweet wonderful ways how much he cared about her.
I really liked both Megan and Luc, their story kept me captivated. There was sweet moments, romance to make your toes tingle and although no huge drama's it still kept your attention and emotions locked in. Throw in a mum, a spiteful assistant, and adorable little boy and it was a recipe for some very emotional moments.
A perfect read when you just wanna book that gives you a big warm hug !

Another MJ Summers book I couldn't put down. I'm sad that the story is over but happy I can add this to my collection and re-read it over and over.

This book will fill you with so many different emotions, but most importantly make you believe in love.

Fantastic read :) can't wait for more of the full hearts series.

One of my favourite reads is Break in Two so i was so excited when this popped up on my home screen of my kindle. I couldn't read this fast enough. A good story, lovely character's which all have a wicked personalities. I was a little disappointed at first that it didn't involve Claire and Cole a bit more but i soon got over that and this book ticked all my boxes for a fab read. I definitely recommend this book worth every penny!

I loved her first book - one of the best I've read in this genre - and I have read a lot This second book doesn't disappoint. Warm lovable characters and with a sense of fun. Steamy and deliciously erotic. Can't wait for the third book. She doesn't keep us waiting too long - unlike the 18 months or so wait from one author!

Genre: Romance, Erotica
I liked Luc in the first book - he's only a brief character but you can't help laughing at his supreme confidence, mixed with his knowing just how to treat a lady....On the surface he sounds a complete prick, arrogant, open about the fact he thinks love is just a fairy tale, and he only does sex, not relationships - and of course he tells how very good he is at sex, and warns the ladies not to fall in love with him....and yet there's something about him that you can't help liking.
Then he meets Megan, who's in Paris for a few days with her friend. She's been primped and dressed by her until she feels like a new woman, not the dull, tired mum struggling alone she was the day before but a vibrant sexy lady, and when she meets Luc he's taken with her. She's not so impressed by him though - has a few harsh words to say and yet that doesn't keep him down, and somehow they end up having hot and sensual sex, something she's long missed. He's a great lover, she's impressed and his no strings is just what she needed before going home to Elliot.
That no strings though - that confidence that everyone else in love is deluded, Luc's way of thinking is bound to trip...that old expression "pride comes before a fall" is perfect for him. He's so proud he's avoided what he sees as the trap of relationships, so proud of his long list of sexual exploits, and then Megan comes along, and he's lost. It takes him a while to realise it though - likewise Megan had determined Elliot wasn't going to meet anyone who could upset his life when they left.
