A photographic tribute to the past, present and future of one of South America's largest nations. The pictures come with detailed captions brimming with little known facts about the country, and it's a pleasure to see it come alive with imagery from such vibrant events as the carnival festivities. --Amateur Photography
If you want to get to grips with this complex, chaotic, and often challenging country before the worlds media starts pedalling sun soaked footage, then this is a superb place to start. --National Geographic Traveller
The writing is delightful and the author dips into politics, as well as festival culture, scarcely missing any corner of this remarkable country… it is a perfect coffee-title table set to impress. --Travel and Leisure Magazine
