Brasil won every match in the qualifying rounds for the world cup, some games by 4,5 even 6-0.
This has to be the most awesome dvd I have ever watched. Futebol Brasileiro isn't football, its love, passion, hope and samba! The British may have invented football but the Brasilian's perfected it. There is no team that play with the passion and skill quite like the Brasilian's do as they samba the ball around the pitch. What I love more about this documentary is seeing the boys as a family. Watching them grow together and laugh and joke and play is so entertaining I just find myself falling in love with them and their passion and energy.
I was so saddened to see Brasilian's boo-ing the team in the final. We had a bad time of it, and from how well we played in the qualifying games, other teams knew they had to bring us down and they did. The tackle on Neymar was wrong and done on purpose to inflict pain and suffering, anyone who disagrees is crazy. The ball was to one side in front of Neymar when Duniga leapt up and forward onto Neymar's back kneeing his spine and yanking him down by his shoulder, a diry move that is against all rules.
What happened this world cup was not bad football it was broken spirits and a defense that fell completely and utterly apart because of it. One could say that Scolari made a huge mistake not putting in one or two oldskool more experienced greats in our team. Either way it wasn't that Germany played amazing, Germany only played good. Brasil's defense was non existent, the boys were lost, crushed... :( Since the cup Brasil have beat Germany 4-2, Argentina 2-0 and Japan 4-0 as well as some other scores I can't quite recall. Brasil are the best and will always strive to stay the best. This dvd will show anyone EXACTLY what futebol really is about, it has a heart and a soul. I will never be ashamed of meus meninos em amarelo (my boys in yellow)
BRASIL PARA SEMPRE!
I'd like to add that the collectors edition with the two extra cds full of episodes on each player is the most annoying thing I have ever watched! I don't understand why they have a British speaker who talks like a used car salesman translating OVER THE TOP of what they are saying! I found them unwatchable because of this! I wanted to hear their voices and listen to their language whilst reading subtitles like the main cd has. This completely ruined it for me and I switched off after one episode.... the extra cd's are a huge disappointment. :(
