This is a long awaited sequel to 'The Braille Club' and I must say that I could not wait to read it, having read J.A. Kerr's first masterpiece. Her characters are so vividly portrayed in three dimensional fashion, and we are carried along with the emotional charge of repressed feelings, and events that are waiting to be 'unleashed'. Behind the scenes, things are never quite what they seem. We are never sure of which way the novel will turn next. Kerr's use of suspense is superb, and we are transfixed by a world where the characters are linked by a mysterious club, the rules of which create a backdrop to the novel, and which make us feel that we are included within the story as we find out more, our own boundaries of perception being pushed further and further into a new dimension. The novel looks at temptation and at what happens when barriers are let down, and where people venture into experiences that they cannot control, and which take them into places where they feel that they are up against their own moral code of behaviour, wondering what they should do- this is a 'seize the day' type of novel in that sense, as we live within a fast pace, where modern life is interjected with age old dilemmas. The bond between the characters is very well developed and we feel that we get to know the protagonists in considerable detail, making them highly authentic. They may remind us of people we know, or people we may never meet, yet they can't fail to interest either due to similarities or differences- they are all living within such a hive of activity that we find out something new at each turn of the page that we could never have guessed about them.

I was so glad that I had this book ready and waiting on kindle so I could dive straight in after the first one. I couldn't wait to read the next chapter after the way the first book ended. I must say, I was not disappointed! I loved the first book, but this book was mind-blowing. J.A Kerr's writing was flawless, the story flowed effortlessly and the changing of characters, again, was easy to follow. I love that all the characters stories are different and each one dripping in suspsense. As I kept reading, I thought I knew where the stories were going but I was proved wrong time and time again. The book was romantic and steamy as hell in some places, but what I love is that the characters go through real life situations that are not sugar-coated by this author. Again, the ending had me on the edge of my seat and I need to know what Nick is planning!! Excellent read! Highly recommended series.

Braille Club Unbound does not disappoint! It possesses all the qualities of book one, and more!! Genuine characters, great plot lines and edge of the seat action! Good old fashioned romance and relationship struggles (some triumphant!) against the backdrop of 'Braille', means there's a golden thread throughout! Fresh characters bring increasing complexity, intrigue and surprising outcomes. Once again, J A Kerr has the knack of leaving you in suspense: cannot wait for the third instalment .... Highly recommend peeps!

Having enjoyed the excellent first book in the series, I was excited to read this next one and I wasn't disappointed. These books are romantic and steamy but are fundamentally about relationships between real people rather than just trying to be erotic for the sake of it, although make no mistake there are some very hot scenes. A pot pourri of characters find themselves drawn to the club to experience the sensuous experiences only the exclusive Braille Club offers but in the background is a multi thread plot line, which will grab your attention. The author is a quality writer, very descriptive and understands human emotions. I am someone who enjoys reading explicit sex but I like it in the context of an interesting story with properly developed characters. This author delivers on all counts.

I enjoyed the second book of this series. I was rooting for the characters to end up together, especially Esme and Ford, and Anna and Guy. This book isn't just erotica, it has the elements of a suspense / thriller as there is a lot of action going on - scheming and revenge! Everyone is connected through The Braille Club. J.A Kerr's writing is flawless, her characters interesting and the plot unpredictable, which is just want we readers want! The ending will defo make you want to read book three.

I had already read the first book in this series, and been very impressed by the writing and the characters, I did wonder whether the author could maintain the same standard with her second book. Well, I’m glad to say she did. Again we have some of the same characters, but in different situations, and again though it is hot and steamy it is erotic rather than offensive or pornographic. It’s a story of human relationships, and how people cope with their feelings and actions, and I for one thought it was very true to life. Well done, hope to read more from this author in the future.
