I downloaded Boys for sale book 1 as a Kindle freebie and could not put it down so the minute finished it I just had had to purchase book 2. Graphic, disturbing, sensitive, for me the best style of writing. We all know these awful things go on and I have read quite a few fictional and non fictional books about similar subjects but none of them touched me in quite the same way as Boys for Sale.
I found Marc Finks writing style very easy to read without it feeling "dumbed down" the way he managed to capture the emotions of Tavi meant I kept forgetting it was a novel rather than true biography. I thoroughly recommend this book if not simply for enjoyment(strange word to use considering the subject) then for awareness of the plight of children trapped in this situation.

I read this book as follow up go Boys for sale. I can honestly say no two books have ever affected me like these two. It's unbelievable what is going on in today's world, governments should be spending money on resources to stop sex slavery not on fancy hotels and bloody wars.

I read the first book BOYS FOR SALE as it was an amazon free book and was drawn in from the first page, the characters are very real, you fight for some characters, hate others and find others are very human and you can see how they got where they are, I won't tell any of the story as I hate a spoiler, but as soon as I finished book one I had to have REDEMPTION I needed to finish what I had started, I needed to know how it would work out, I did not regret either book and would recommend to anyone, but a warning it does contain adult content that is violent and disturbing, not for you if you are sensitive.

I would not normally pick a book like this to read but I am so glad that I did. I had no idea of the extent of human trafficking in children, it really shocked me. What an eye opener. This book was extremely well written as was the first book Boys for Sale. I would, and have recommended both books to friends. The characters were very believable and it was lovely to have quite a happy ending although I can't imagine any of the real children involved in such atrocities ever have a happy ending. Well done Marc Finks for bringing this issue to light.

After reading karen Marshall trafficked this book came up. I need to say it was very difficult to read at times but the truth of these and other childrens flights needs to be heard and recognized everywhere. There is an old saying. The truth can set you free and the truth in these books really can set these children free if only we stop pretending this doesn't happen to our children. It does and it can the more aware we are the better we can help a very well wrote and thought provoking book

This was a great follow up and end to a great story , I have spent six hours reading it I just could not put it down. I had to find out what happened to the boys. Sad to realise that is is happening all over the world
A fabulous portrayal of life for a child in the sex slave trade
I laughed at parts and I wept at parts and if truth be told I spent more time doing the latter. Well written and easy to read.
Fantastic...
