Before I found this product I had used Davina - My Three 30 Minute Workouts, a couple of times. I really enjoyed the cardio box section and thought I would be better finding a DVD based mainly on this type of exercise. When I initially found this DVD I thought I was going to be doing box exercise, unfortunately I don't think this does what it says on the tin! I found that there was hardly any boxing moves involved at all. It felt more like a keep fit/ cheesy line dancing aerobic lesson. I returned it the day I received it, which fair enough means I didn't give it much of a chance, but it really wasn't what I thought it was going to be. If you want an aerobics or keep fit DVD then go for this, if you were hoping to get fit by incorporating boxing moves then I wouldn't bother.

The first time you use this dvd you may think you'll never get the combinations, but if you give it another couple of goes you'll find it gets much easier. Even the presenters make mistakes-the important thing is not to stop. There are different levels so you have something to work up to and at your own pace aswell as 4 sections- warm up, workout, conditioning and cool down. I found it to be a challenging and fun workout that left me feeling energised and after 3 weeks of use I can see myself toning up. The only drawback is that you need a fair amount of space to do the moves, although if you are limited you can march on the spot instead of forwards and backwards.

I am a veteran of Aerobics DVD's but this really doesn't deliver the goods! It is far too complicated which would be ok if the moves were explained, but they are not! I have a fairly large living room, but I also feel that the moves were not designed for this - a much bigger space is needed.

I got this DVD because I wanted to start a fitness program but I wanted to do it in the privacy of my own home. I'm not the most co-ordinated or graceful of movers so I thought this would be more about strength than fancy moves.

As with any exercise video the first few times you do it you don't know the moves and you have to stop and watch so you can get it. None of the moves are particularly difficult to do if you stop to work them out, but there are some turns that I can never get back in position from! It's encouraging to see Suzanne and her friend don't get the moves perfect either - this makes me feel like I'm not a screw up when I get it wrong!

I've been doing the program twice or three times a week for about four weeks now and I can keep up with the routine and I'm definately firming up. Suzanne Cox reminds you to work at your 'own level' and not to push yourself too hard but she's encouraging without being a sadist, although her friend is nuts and pulls some stupid faces!

It's about an hour and five minutes long with a warm up a gruelling thirty minute aerobic workout, conditioning (also quite gruelling) and cool down. The results I'm seeing seem worth the effort!

I'd classify myself as a fit person who is used to doing the Les Mills body combat and body attack workouts. I was hoping that Suzanne Cox' workout is similar to the Les Mills one. I'm afraid it's not. The intensity level of this workout DVD varies throughout the entire DVD and isn't constant. Parts are very tough with very high intensity for 2 min, and then it goes down to a very low intensity level. There is also a long floor stretching session after the cardio, so you're actually not doing "body combat" for too long. The combat moves are also very complicated and you often don't know which arm or which leg to punch or kick with. Suzanne Cox often doesn't say. The camera angles also change a lot which adds to your confusion as to which limbs to use.

Prior to having a baby, I used to attend similar aerobics classes such as kick-aerobics/boxercise at the local gym. After having baby, decided on getting a home exercise DVD as a way of fitting in exercise into my day as getting back down to the gym was not always possible. It was while looking for another boxersise dvd I stumbled upon this one and thought I'd give it a try as needed something that was gonna kickstart getting fit and shifting some post baby weight. It did take a few times to get used to the routine and with a few slight adjustments (due to having a not massive sized living room) I found the workout to be quite good. As with all workouts you could take it as high impact or as low impact as you wanted. As some of the other reviews have said, it seems like you just plodd your way around like line dancing etc. Well only if you choose to take the low impact road, change the stepping to jumping etc and you are already increasing the intensity :O) I did this DVD as regularly as I could and aimed for at least 3 times a week, usually just after I put my child down for a nap, or in the evening. The workout is exactly 1hr, so you can time fitting this in to your day somewhere, just right. It did help with shocking the post baby body into kickstarting the weight loss. I found the floor section quite good too and found my abdominal strength return quite quickly. The only downside to this DVD is that after a while, it does start to become a bit boring so would advise you have a selection of DVD's that you can chop & change doing.
