Cally has allowed herself to be dragged along to a bachelor auction by her best friend Mel, not that Mel has any money but Cally has she is a very rich heiress, but she has never behaved as one she is no clothes hanger or poser like her ex supermodel Mother a fact her Mother has never let her forget. Cally unlike her tall willowy and beautiful Mother is shorter and with a much more voluptuous figure. So here she is sitting in this room with a whole load of screaming women bidding for the bachelors strutting their stuff up and down the runway.
Blake has been talked into doing this event for charity, had he realised what it entailed he would never have agreed to it. His p.a.was going to pay for getting him in this situation. His turn comes around too quickly, fortunately tens years ago he had done some modelling so he pulled on that experience to get him through this, while doing his stuff on the runway he spots a very attractive women dressed in a business suit looking at him with a disapproving expression on her face, the woman with her was bidding furiously waving her paddle in the air. Cally is furious with Mel she has won the auction for the guy who had been staring at her the whole time he was on the runway, she could just tell he was a player men as handsome and rich as he was always had women fawning all over him. Now she had won him for a weekend.
Loved this story from start to finish, it is hot passionate and most of all romantic. I loved both the lead characters they were very likeable. I especially liked Blake he was to die for. A really great read I highly recommend.

The "five stars" are well deserved. Great plot, great dialogue, great h's, but does anyone else think these modern HP's have devolved to just promoting unsafe and purely gratuitous sex?

Not to preach, but doesn't anyone yearn for the days of delayed gratification? I'm just saying...

This is a lovely romantic tale with lots of chemistry and passion. Blake is the kind of guy you'd like to have for yourself and you can't help envying Cally - even though he is only fictional. They both start off with negative opinions about each other and as she gradually learns that he isn't a shallow pretty face and he discovers she is not an idle rich heiress they become less prickly with each other until they inevitably share more than a kiss. As in real life, this romance has its ups and downs until the hero and heroine reach their happy ending. Loved it and will read more from this author.
