I order you to buy this album right now, and listen to it three times a day, once after each meal, until you feel better.

Also, it's called 'Boss for Leader' not 'Bood for Leader' , although that is a good name,

This is some energetic, adventurous and joyful electronica courtesy of Swedish electronica-artists Slagsmålsklubben. I actually don't agree with the political overtones of the album cover and some titles; I don't hear that in the music at all. This music takes you on a wild ride of a journey, where retro meets new in a lavish explosion of delicious audio.

"Hänt" is an ultra-catchy opener that glues itself to your mind; playful and catchy. Then the mood takes a 180° turn with the eerie and powerful "Sponsored by Destiny". There is the cheery and adventurous "Malmö Beach Night Party" (talk about a misleading title); joyful stuff. "Spanska förhoppningar" is indeed hopeful and a real kicker. Perhaps the album's most offbeat, nondescriptive title is the one that adorns the next track; "Han som tuggar med öppen mun dör" ("He who chews with an open mouth dies). That titles says nothing about the quirky and, after its slow first half, superbly feisty tune. Just like with the first two songs, the mood again takes a 180° turn into the amazing "Borg of Hate", a title that actually isn't far off. It is a riveting, scary ride of a tune but so beautiful that you want to continue down the ride. Finally, the closer "Pälsmästaren" (almost as misleading a title as the two examples I've mentioned) is as good a closer as any album would want - sit through the five-minute whirlwind of noise around the five minute mark until we come to a surprising way to end the album.

Boss For Leader is electronica at its best; a nonstop powerhouse of catchy tunes and powerful and playful arrangement, given extra oomph by the extremes of emotions both light and dark at work here. Slagsmålsklubben should probably get somebody else to name their tunes, but they are artists to watch out for. This belongs in your collection if you are at all into electronica. I didn't want to land on planet Earth again when the album was over.

This is definitely my favorite electronica group and they managed to make another superb album with this one!
Although I prefer the previous album (den svenske disco) this one is right at the top of my favorite albums. Great geek music and it really works for any occasion, happy or sad, party or relaxing.

Slagsmålsklubben is one of my favourite bands and this album is definitely their best. But, more imporantly, it is VERY difficult to find. If you do get the chance to buy it, don't hesitate!
