I bought this item to pick up windfalls in the orchard because "It has strong serrated jaws to pick up large items and fine tip ends for small items." This might be true for soft and squishy goods but it is useless on hard items. The angled fine jaws directed the fruit away from the main jaws, the fruit skids away, so, no grip, no pick up. On the piece of cardboard that the item is attached to is a picture of the litter picker with a Coke can in its Jaws. This is misleading as the can is pre-squashed. The actual handle squeeze/actuatiion is a very clicky, stiff action and would quickly become tiring to use. Applied for refund.

After a few hours of usage it starts to bend such that the pincers no longer touch when the handle is fully squeezed. This gets progressively worse so that the smallest item you can pick up gradually increases in size to the point of unusability.
