It's a handy little drill, which I bought for light DIY to take over to our property in Kalkan, Turkey.
However, I have had major problems with the chuck from new. It’s difficult to get it tighten enough on the drill bit and the drill bit slips constantly. Once you do manage to get it tight the chuck can jam and then you can’t remove the drill bit.
I have tried cleaning, oiling and then re-cleaning the chuck and that has improved the release slightly.
I would replace the chuck but it looks like it’s a Bosch only swap. If anyone knows how to get the chuck off then please let me know.
I think if the chuck were a larger diameter then it would be easier to grip and tighten/loosen.
