We have used this mower just two or three times, but that's long enough to form some opinions.... So far so good. :-)
We're impressed by general build quality and the amount of power, it being able to slice through longish damp grass with no real slow-down of the motor.
It is also pretty easy to adjust cutting height, which is done all four wheels at once. Although I would have preferred a nice beefy knob to twist instead of a lever to yank, it works well enough.
The mower also cuts well to the edges of lawns, the rear roller allowing it to over-sail flower beds by a small amount, while the front wheels being inset makes for a relatively close trim to walls and fences.
We also approve very much of the grass-box capacity, which is not just big (50 litres) but is actually filled up pretty well in use by the clippings being delivered right into the back of it. I want to emphasise that this is the first time I have seen grass collection quite so good in any rotary type mower. Usually it is necessary to repeatedly lift off the box and tamp the clippings down and backwards in order to make room for more, but it really isn't necessary with this mower's design. Moreover, if you want to check how full the box is getting, you can lift the spring flap door which rests along the top of the box, and look inside. And, if you really MUST squash the clippings back a bit, you can do so through that opening.
We also like the switch controls, which require two buttons to be pressed when starting to mow. This is usual safety feature in electric mowers of this type, but once it is running you need only hold one switch down, and you have got a choice of four separate ones, all of them light and comfortable to hold pressed for long periods if needed.

I had a flymo hover before this which used to tear up the grass and could only be used if the ground were bone dry. This thing is incredible - it is so well made, very ergonomic and fast - you can walk at a normal pace and it just Cutts away and keeps pace. Best "thing" I've bought in 2016.

The grass box requires a lot of strength to assemble. I would suggest that Bosch supply it ready built. It does not come with any system of tidying the wires after use, this is penny pinching and from a health and safety point of view the electrical cable is not pliable and is more difficult to keep away from the blades when cutting the lawn. It requires 2 people to assemble the handle.Good engine, cuts great.

I've previously used hover mowers. The Flymo's were excellent and didn't require much effort to push around, but a McAllister was VERY heavy and didn't seem to hover very well, and so it was hard to push! However I started to have back and hip problems, as to use a hover mower it's natural to swing it from side to side in an arc, so I decided to buy this wheeled mower...... and it was so light and easy to push around! :-)
It was also far easier to adjust the cutting height than on the hover mowers, it copes well with long grass, and is a pleasure to use. The only drawback for me was that the cable was a bit too short for the size of my garden (shorter than the cables supplied with my previous mowers), so I have to use an extension cable. The other minor issue is that the cable is wired directly into the mower, and not via a plug, so that if you damage the cable you can't just buy a replacement and plug it in - you have to get an electrician to replace the cable (unless you're confident and competent enough to re-wire it yourself).

Very good lawnmower. Purchased for my parents who are in their 80s. Light enough for them to handle and cuts the lawn beautifully.

Bought to replace old Bosch 40 mower which had stopped working. Very similar to older model - though as others have mentioned the cable on the new mower is shorter and the handle assembly is a bit fiddly - the pictures on the instructions could be clearer. These are the only reasons I didn't give this 5 stars. However, it's easy to use and I believe if registered with Bosch comes with an additional year on the warranty. We have a large sloping lawn and it manages that with no problem.

Very pleased with Bosch electricity lawnmover. I'm using it for 6 months already and it does a good job. No problems at all. I took expensiar version as my thinking was that I need more robust thing as I want it to last, not just for first two years... And I'm supper happy with this one, easy to use and easy to clean, which is the most important for me. As I don't want to spend more time cleaning it than actually cutting the lawn. It is also very light so anyone can use it.

A good machine which cuts well, but four stars rather than five because the grass box is self-assembly and really badly designed. Fine once it is put together, but lining up all the connecting lugs was a time consuming job requiring lots of patience to get it right. Poor product design just to make it fit into a smaller box.
