We have used this mower just two or three times, but that's long enough to form some opinions.... So far so good. :-)
We're impressed by general build quality and the amount of power, it being able to slice through longish damp grass with no real slow-down of the motor.
It is also pretty easy to adjust cutting height, which is done all four wheels at once. Although I would have preferred a nice beefy knob to twist instead of a lever to yank, it works well enough.
The mower also cuts well to the edges of lawns, the rear roller allowing it to over-sail flower beds by a small amount, while the front wheels being inset makes for a relatively close trim to walls and fences.
We also approve very much of the grass-box capacity, which is not just big (50 litres) but is actually filled up pretty well in use by the clippings being delivered right into the back of it. I want to emphasise that this is the first time I have seen grass collection quite so good in any rotary type mower. Usually it is necessary to repeatedly lift off the box and tamp the clippings down and backwards in order to make room for more, but it really isn't necessary with this mower's design. Moreover, if you want to check how full the box is getting, you can lift the spring flap door which rests along the top of the box, and look inside. And, if you really MUST squash the clippings back a bit, you can do so through that opening.
We also like the switch controls, which require two buttons to be pressed when starting to mow. This is usual safety feature in electric mowers of this type, but once it is running you need only hold one switch down, and you have got a choice of four separate ones, all of them light and comfortable to hold pressed for long periods if needed.

Wow it arrived today and I had a few issues with assembling the handle but eventually sorted. ( I'm a girl ) The lawn has nt been cut since last year. Imagine even my local fox can hide Tonight I'm in charge I set it on the highest 7 but quickly changed it to as it was so easy. HALF MY lawn done until bad light stops play. ...Hopefully I can finish tomorrow but for cast is bad..heavy rain .. I am delighted so far with the mower apart from the assembly information but perhaps bits just me.

This is a cracking mower. It mows, obviously, but what makes it special is that it mows whatever the conditions. Most mowers are at their best in dry conditions on medium length grass. The Rotak will cut consistently well whether it is long wet grass, or very short dry grass. There are six height setting, although its brilliant blades means you won't have to use the highest except when you actually want to leave the grass long.

It is light enough to shove up steep banks, or to hold in a straight line mowing laterally across a bank. It gets as close to the edge as you would think possible, due to some clever 'combs'. The collection bin is larger than average, but due to brilliant cutting it does fill up very quickly.

The handle folds down very easily for quick and compact storage. Can't think of a single criticism for this beauty.

Price wise, you will certainly find cheaper, but you really do get what you pay for.

What a great mower! simple set up and easy to use, it is lightweight with a large cutting circle. Bought for my mother to use and she loves it, she had a rotak 34 and that served her well but with the this one she's done in half the time and it gives a superior finish to her previous. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a large electric mower

Ended up buying this elsewhere for cheaper and used my Nectar points to get even more money off. Overall really impressed with thos mower and would recommend it.

Points to consider:
The cable is a bit short so I'd think most people would need and extension lead - I use one anyway so not an issue for me.

My old Flymo was lighter to carry to the garden but this is easier to mow with especially through wet and/or long grass.

Construction of the grass box was a little fiddly but once lined up and all the clips were driven home it make a rather strong box- in fact the box on my old Flymo - although that was a 1 piece box, was rather brittle and cracked where as I don't think this will. I presume it is like this so they can fit it all in a smaller box to deliver it- I'd prefer a single piece grassbox but it's only an minor issue when constructed then it's fine.

Some complained about its ability to pickup clippings - I did find this initially but then realised it had done such a good job at picking the clippings up it was full and needed emptying! So if the box is on properly and is dropping clippings you need to empty it!

Pros:

Easy to mow with

Produces nice stripes - if that's your thing.

Handles and all the buttons are easy to use, comfortable and means you can swap hands and position easily.

Wide cut and combs means there was very minimal edging to do compared to my Flymo.

Box holds a decent amount and sucks up the clippings well - just remember to empty it before it's too full.

Easy to carry with carry handle - if a little heavier than the Flymo

Rides over bumps well.

Easier to clean than my Flymo - pretty much no grass sludge underneath.
