"Brilliant! Mouthwateringly delicious ideas and recipes. Packed with fascinating and useful information about the world of foraging, not to mention a good pinch of humour." -Brigit Strawbridge, star of ""It's Not Easy Being Green""

"A book-of-the year contender ... a book which I'll be reading again and again, and you'd have to be drunk not to want to do the same!"

Having borrowed the 2011 hardback version of this book from the library, I thought it good enough to purchase my own copy. Noting that there was a 2013 edition due out, I pre-ordered it. Upon receipt, the first thing I noticed was that the wording was slightly odd. On closer inspection the warning signs were clear - "mom's station wagon", "liters" etc. Quantities are also in "cups" etc., although metric equivalents are given in seemingly all cases. Whilst these are not a big deal on their own, the real problem is that all the addresses in the "Directory of Homebrew Equipment Suppliers" are of suppliers located solely in the US and Canada.

In summary, the book is excellent (and would have received 4 or 5 stars), but this is a print for a different continent. If you're in the UK, buy the 2011 edition (which, at time of writing, is cheaper anyway). It's available from Amazon (Booze for Free). Kudos to Amazon for accepting the return without a quibble, but the web page needs to be updated to reflect the problems with this edition.
