I seriously want to lick this cover... There is nothing more sexy to me that amazing six-pack. Dayum this cover is hot. And the title? He totally is my book boyfriend.
Claire Kingsley is a new author to me and her writing will leave you breathless. Prepare yourself for what's about to hit you. Her writing is simple, detailed and sassy as hell. Trust me please...
Book Boyfriend tells the stories of Alex and Mia.
Alex is a romance writer that hides himself behind a female pen name. He is a computer geek but he didn't enjoy his work like he enjoys writing. He needs to thank his sister for the amazing advise to become a romance writer. He don't want relationships with any woman because he had a very bad marriage, but the first time he saw Mia he knew that he wanted her but here's the catch. She doesn't know that he's a writer much less that he's her virtual best friend.
Mia is a dreamer. Every romance book that she reads she wants to live it. When she meets Alex she thought that her dreams did come true, that her book boyfriend was real and so so hot.
But what will happen when she finds out the truth? Can she forgive Alex? Can Alex forgive himself?
I had a great time reading this book, I've laughed so hard with some chapters but was pissed with others, but hey that was supposed to happen with an amazing book like this. The way the characters interact with each other is hilarious and with so much feelings and passion.
I really identify myself with Mia because just like her I'm a book geek, I love to read and dream with every book that I manage to read. It's so good to feel like that.
Give this book a chance and you'll see why I'm saying this.
What's next Claire Kingsley? What great book is waiting for me?

Gah! I adored this cute, sexy romance! It has all the ingredients that appeal to a romance book lover.

“He’s a walking dream.”

Mia is an introverted, awkward, clumsy bookworm, who runs a popular book blog. She’s become good friends with Lexi Logan, a successful though anonymous romance author, and they spend a lot of time messaging each other. Her love life is a disaster, and her sister thinks that all the romance books she reads has made her set the bar too high for potential boyfriends to reach.

“Mia is so…alive. And she doesn’t seem to realize how beautiful she is.”

Alex always wanted to write sci-fi novels. However, an idea from his sister has him writing a successful romance novel and his career completely takes off from there – under the guise of Lexi Logan. It’s key that no one finds out his secret identity as his income helps with all his father’s medical bills. He has a great online friendship with the book blogger, Bookworm Babe AKA BB, and they talk about pretty much everything.

When Mia and Alex literally bump into each at the local bookstore, Alex is completely charmed by her. However, when he puts two and two together, and tries to do the right thing, destiny has a way of pushing them together, and he finds himself stuck with his deception, whilst falling totally in love with the woman of his dreams. Meanwhile, Mia just cannot believe that this gorgeous hunk of man seems to be straight out of a book. He seems perfect. And, he seems to get her and accept her in all her awkward, clumsy glory, and makes her feeling beautiful.

“She’s like the best book ever written.”

I just loved these two! I loved watching them fall in love. Mia is funny and adorable. Alex is just so yummy!

How to describe this book? Amazing and unable to put down. I received an ARC and I have to say that I am glad as I really enjoyed the book. Claire is a brilliant writer and I have to say, each book gets better.

Alex is a writer who writes romance novels under a pseudonym name called Lexi. Mia is an introvert and is beyond clumsy which I think a lot of people can relate to. Mia is a massive bookaholic and is constantly reading new books and has her own blog. Over a year ago she starts talking to Lexi and pretty much reads all of Lexi's new books early. By chance Alex and Mia bump into each other at a book store whilst another author is signing their new book. It's obvious from the beginning that these guys are meant to be together. Anyway, slowly Mia and Alex see how their relationship goes but this is without Mia realising that Alex is Lexi. You can see how Alex is struggling to tell Mia and it's interesting to see how it goes. At points you feel like you should bite your nails. Claire does it again by pulling at your heartstrings which was much needed for me.

I look forward to seeing what Claire writes next.

I have read all of Claire Kingsley books, and although it is very different to anything she has written before it is truly amazing.

Mia is a sweet adorable clumsy girl who is looking for her perfect man, Alex is a gentleman who tries to do the right thing, but has a secret that could ruin everything. The ending is dream worthy and in this case words definitely speak louder than actions!

I read this book in one sitting and I tend not to read books more than once, but with this book, I WANT to read it again.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
