This is a nice solid bench, I have seen better benches but for its price its definately worth 5 stars. The bench came in pieces with proper instructions but with no tools so... u need to be prepared to use your own or borrow from somebody if you don't have any. It took me about 30min to fix the bench. The bench is solid and does not seem cheap at all. I am a heavy guy and use the bench with dumbells so far so good. The only thing that worries me is the lower part of the bench is connected with 2 large screws and since I am a big guy I am worried that it will eventually break in the future so I will go put a small extra piece of metal there and then this bench will be top class.
Oh and one more thing the cussions on the bench are not very thick like in some other benches, but I think they are OK.
-If you are planning to use this bench with dumbells you will be fine, i would not advice you to use it with a bar though especially if you put heavy weights on.
Immediately after i started to assemble the bench i noticed that i needed 8 washers intead of the 4 shown in the manual in the first step in order to put the parts together tight, if i use 4 it is extremly loose and shaky. This leaves me with no choice but to purchase more washers from a hardware store if i want to finish the assembly since there's only 10 provided and i would probably need at least 20. In addition the washers that were pre-installed on the seat were completely rusted. It's a cheap bench at £40, but i would expect to at least be able to assemble the product without having to buy additional parts.
I am tall, 6ft 3, and weight in at 90kg. As soon as I used any sort of weight for dumbbell press or fly the bench was really unstable and unsafe. The materials seemed flimsy from out the box and it really was the sum of its parts. If you are tall the bench is really cramped particularly for exercises using an incline.
The bench may be fine for someone smaller, utilising lighter weights but if you're a bigger/longer lady or lad I'd avoid.
Hope that helped.
I had looked at more expensive benches and this is perfect for the lifter on a budget. 200KG limit allows me 120KG to lift and I cant see me hitting that weight with dumbbells
All in all I cant say anything bad, you pay for what you get and this was one of my best purchases for a few years.
* Assembly was fast and easy - tools are included
* Loads of adjustability
* The frame seems sturdy
* Powder coating seems durable
* Looks good - frame's a bit darker than it appears on here
* Adjustable parts are very flimsy
* Seat and backrest are made from VERY thin wood
* Upholstering is poorly done and doesn't seem durable
* Some screws were rusty
* Seat and backrest are very unstable - NOT suitable for step-ups
* NOT suitable for heavy dumbbell lifting (2 x 20 kg is absolute max)
All in all, it's what you can expect for the price. I'll recommend that you try to stretch the budget for a slightly better product.
I suspect that seat and backrest will need replacing very soon.
Amazons delivery was only 2 days,
I would recommend this bench for anyone who wants a bench for the house or gym and it doesn't take up much space

Absolutely rubbish, it's cheap and tacky and mine broke straight awayPublished 3 months ago by Lewis Baker
Good piece of equipment for the home gym. Had mine for over 5 years and its still going strong.
Easy enough to put together.
The seat and back are very wobbly, as the bolts which secure them are not a snug fit for the holes they pass through.Published 10 months ago by Mr. Leigh Hughes
A good sturdy weight bench and is easily adjustable without the need of any tools. It's also pretty light which means it's manageable for one person to move it around.Published 12 months ago by Arwel Lewis
I Have no clue how to set this up and the 200kg Max user weight is a liePublished 12 months ago by LePub_James
