A great book, that really makes cooking on board easy. There are loads of recipes in here, and I like the way they are categorised for ease, in terms of wind strength!
Highly recommeded, and like the pun! (haut cuisine!)

I wanted a book for a gift for a new boat owner and this looked a good option. However,it is disappointingly thin with no photographs, only a few line drawings. The practical guide to utensils and store cupboard is good and I like the Beaufort Scale idea. It does what it claims but is vastly overpriced compared to hard back, colour cookbooks on the market.

Very basic almost to the point of being patronising. If you don't already know how to make a bacon sandwich or heat up a can of beans this book could be for you.
