Product description

About the Author

First and foremost I am an avid reader of romance. I read every single day. Without reading I wouldn't be inspired to write. The same can be said about music. I started reading with Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown's LoveSwept titles forever ago and went from reading solely traditionally published to reading nearly all indie authors. I still read my Nora and a few others. A must. I started seriously writing about six years ago when the need to get the stories that are stuck in my head on paper became overwhelming. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them. I'm a huge fan of music, chocolate, fruit, Fall, Matt Shadows, Avenged Sevenfold, and Milo Ventimiglia.

Oh Anne this series is just getting better and better. I wouldn't mind waking up next to Jesse married to him lol.
It's not often that I will go from one book to the next in the series but I have to say I have with these.
Anne Mercier has done it again for me another fantastic story. I loved it

Right now I get it – my confusion and niggle with book one was my problem and not the book because damn, this book is fantastic!!!
This is one sexy read, which will make you laugh out loud at times and that can never be a bad thing.
But it is not all plain sailing and that gave this book the edge that I was looking for
Heading out on tour – Falling down and Blush are pushing all the right buttons and I mean that in every sense possible but they are setting the music world alight and after their big night in Vegas – Jesse and Lucy have more to get accustomed to than most – this is no run of the mill tour – this is a honeymoon that is about as far from ideal as you could have ever imagined.
Now while there big day may not have been what they would have wanted in an ideal world – being together is and they know that they can make it work but it is those around them that seem to have a harder time getting their head around the fact that they’re married - especially Lucy’s family.
So can they survive the pressure that being newlywed and on the road- you bet your ass they can- there isn’t anything that can tear them apart but that doesn’t stop the hangers on and harlots from having a darn good go but when you have a man like Jesse by your side, Lucy knows that life doesn’t get any better.
I adored Jesse and the devotion that he gives to Lucy, there is no-one else in his world other than her and she well, she made me smile because despite the armies of brazen fans who treat her with complete irrelevance she stands tall and proud by her man and gives no quarter to those that doubt what she has with Jesse – you go girl!!

The review. I have received an ARC copy of the book in exchange of an honest review.

So the book takes us back to where the first part left us: The night when Lucy woke up next to Jesse in Las Vegas, shocked, terrified and happy at same time! I still laugh when I remember the adventure to find Elvis! I love this book! It shows the love between Jesse and Lucy, and how deep it is. There are many obstacles, pain, betrayals and even danger, but that’s what makes it a brilliant book. Groupies that follows FD everywhere, mamma Russo, grandpa that makes appearance…

I love that Anne includes everyone from Falling Down and Blush bands, so they are really a family. You can see that they respect each other and love each other. Jesse and Lucy are working out the best way of being a couple and not to give in to all those small bumps they have on the way to being a perfect couple.

I was in love with Jesse in the first part, but now Lucy can have him! I want my Xander! God he is crazy, every single time when I think about his play list I am either LMAO or snorting because of that! I still can’t believe his taste in music.

Anne has this amazing gift of making you believe that the characters are real (they are, aren’t they? LOL).

So if you still haven’t read the first part: GO AND GET IT NOW! It’s a must read and Blush is even better – especially when you like hot sex scenes :]

Blush is book #2 in the Rockstar series, I was gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Ok so you know when you can’t decide if a book is brilliant or just down right ridiculous??? Well that’s where I am with Blush….

There’s a warning label on the blurb that states that this is NOT a dark romance and that’s fine but at times this book is just so incredibly cheesy I was rolling my eyes.

This book has flashes of brilliance, when the whole gang get together and start bantering back and forth I’m completely hooked. The silliness and sibling family vibe this group has is infectious and I want to read more.

Unfortunately there’s also moments of just too much mush!!! I get that Jesse and Lucy are completely smitten with each other but I’m a bit bored of hearing about it constantly!!!

Again this book has more sex than I’ve had in my entire thirty odd years of life!!! Seriously you guys you are going to die of exhaustion if you carry on at this rate!!!

This book manages to flash from nice rockstar smut to mafia smut in the blink of an eye and I’m honestly not sure how it happened!!

Now characters that I had liked from the start are actually mafia plants and when the hell did it become necessary!!!

This book became a romantic suspense and I’m not sure I like it!!

This whole book just got a bit daft, mafia, hospitals, fights, triple surprises I mean what the hell will happen next!!!

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as Falling Down, Blush gets 2.5 stars from me.

The book takes off right where Falling down ended and I like that you had that continuous story line. It did help that I have read the books one after the other so there was no cliffhanger or waiting around for me!!

I do like that even though there is a serious story running in the background the story is light hearted with quite a bit of comedy and I look forward to where this continuing story goes.......
