    I wanted to get this to monitor the various sensors in my project car, a Mazda RX-8, using Torque on Android. This little thing just plugs into the OBD2 port, and then you go to your Bluetooth and select it. There's a pin that stumped me at first, but upon referencing the manual, I discovered it was just 1234.
    The product is great, well made for the price, and works with my phone perfectly. I have successfully used this reader in both my RX-8 and my CT200h, both of which it is plug and play, working and reading the sensors great.
    My only gripe is due to the OBD2 port always being live with 12V from the battery, regardless of ignition status, I need to unplug it every time I stop the car to prevent it from draining the battery. Not the product's fault, as this is the nature of (at least my 2) cars. However, an on-off switch might have been a welcome addition.
    Overall, I can confirm it works great with Torque on Android and with my RX-8 and CT200h. A product like this is pretty much a must-have, if you're into cars, as it lets you read (accurate) data from all the various sensors on your car's CAN bus.

    My engine light came on and thought i would try the device to avoid expensive garage costs .
    i had downloaded the Torque app for y android phone and when i put the device in it lit up but would not connect the system interface and therefore the car ECU.
    So i went onto youtube and found a guy who he had the same issue and suggested firstly take the bluetooth off the phone and put the device into the car OBD2 point and link that first. amazingly it worked.
    i was able to identify the possible fault and replaced with a new MAP sensor on my car and used Wynn carb cleaner (also from Amazon) while i was there. Bobs your uncle the car was running smooth as a very smooth thing so i used the reader to clear my engine fault light and no problems or engine light since.
    It saved me a fortune but was not easy to set up and make work but got there and would recommend totally plus you get so much satisfaction from a light free dashboard on the car

    Ich nutze die Car Scanner App.
    Die App kann sicher mehr als ich Ahnung von habe. Mir hat es gereicht die Fehler angezeigt zu bekommen um mich auf die Suche/ Behebung zu machen. Günstige Alternative zur Werkstatt.
    Fehler konnte ich löschen, wurden aber beim nächsten Test wieder angezeigt. Wird in der App auch darauf hingewiesen das es sein kann, dass Fehler nur durch die Werkstatt gelöscht werden können. Bin zufrieden mit dem Stecker und der App.

    Ik voel mij bedrogen: als iets thuis niet kan geleverd worden wil ik op voorhand zelf een afhaalpunt kiezen. De communicatie ontbrak helemaal en was heel flou. Het afhaalpunt moest ik na veel zoeken zelf achterhalen (geen adres!)
