About the Author
Martin Horsfield was born in West London, in 1978. He has been working with children for the best part of a decade and, away from his writing, spends most of his free time complaining about Queens Park Rangers and admiring his ever-increasing rum collection. Drawing upon his own experiences of living with OCD his debut novel, Bluebeat Boy, is now available in all formats. He is currently busy working on the notoriously difficult second novel. Would you like to know when it’s available? Or perhaps find out a little bit more about Martin or his own experiences of mental health issues? You can find out all of the above, plus his latest news, or simply get in touch via his website at www.mahorsfield.com. Alternatively, if you fancy a more immediate conversation you can follow him on Twitter at @MAHwords.

It's written in a contemporary style and contains many cultural references which I recognised, growing up in the 90s and early 00s myself.
It combines elements of a modern romance with all its trials and tribulations, mixed with more serious issues surrounding mental health.
A sign of good story is that you care about the characters and what happens to them. The author has achieved this.
I'm now trying to get my very supportive wife to read the book & hope that she doesn't find it to raw. You know us, always looking at the worst case scenario!
Anyhow, it was a pleasure to read & should be a must for all councilors, therapists etc. That woukld drive up sales!
