From a young age held a passion for history coupled with his love of horse racing he wanted to become a jockey but his mother was against the idea stating that her father Charles and her uncles Morny and Kempton Cannon had broken too many bones in their body so unable to ride the horse he decided like his ancestor’s to contribute to the turf by uncovering and writing the complete unwritten history of his family over the last 200 years.
