Having read other works by this author, I was really looking forward to 'Blood and Ice'. But I must say this is quite the most 'bloodless' and tepid tale! The only character with an ounce of 'umph' is the dog handler in the Antarctic, and he's despatched halfway through! Not the author's best work.

If you liked reading the Anne Rice Vampire books, you will enjoy this. An intriguing tale with page turning moments of suspense. I liked the way the story switched from modern day, back in time & then climaxed at the end. Very enjoyable read.

Read this on holiday and enjoyed it. The ending was a bit weak and I felt it could have been improved on, but overall it was an interesting take on vampires.Read more
