Very, very good band. I sense The Clash here as at least an influence, first two albums stage. There's a feel of other early punk bands here too... Not the bandwagon groups, but the truly accomplished ones, like The Carpettes, The Cortinas, Leyton Buzzards, maybe crossed with more modern bands, bands like The Briefs, or The Cute Lepers. Of course, if you like other French punk bands like La Souris Deglingue'e or The Dogs, you'll know what to expect. This album is sung entirely in French, but that doesn't detract. The music behind the words is excellent, very well produced and executed, and very tuneful. I've loved punk from the beginning. Not the amateurish bands. They just filled a gap, and either attracted to or repelled from the general punk music thing. They were the leaves on a tree, which come, serve a purpose, then drop off and disappear. The true punk was and is the roots, trunk and branches... a lot more substantial. So if you share those views, you'll like this album. Please note. There is a hidden track at the end. Just vocals and a guitar...A lot like Patrick Fitzgerald. It's excellent.
