In true blogging-style, Emma and Lynn have broken down the topic of blogging into neat chapters. This means aspiring and existing bloggers can skip easily to sections they might find most relevant. The book also shows how different areas of expertise can be combined to provide a reader with a balanced and comprehensive view of a subject.
At just under 200 pages, it is a reasonably quick read, but each paragraph oozes useful tidbits and tips that you’ll be noting down or considering. I myself have approached blogging in an unusual way. I have a large facebook following that I’ve built over the past 3-4 years and I’m now looking to give a more lasting imprint on my readers via a blog. It’s been running since the middle of December with Lynn and Emma’s book being the next new and exciting thing I’ve discovered.
For me blogging is really about passion and enjoyment, but I’d love to develop more readership and opinions so the chapters in the book on SEO, backlinking and such are immensely useful.
Another key selling point of the book is showing real-life examples of the author experiences. Including, and this is vitally important, the things to avoid or not get wrong from the start.
I enjoyed reading this book from cover to cover. The positive and supportive tone meant that it felt like I was being spoken to by a friend giving me helpful advice. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anybody starting out on their blogging journey. Well done and thank you again Emma and Lynn, you have a new fan who you might find coming back and asking for tips in the future!
This book has some really helpful tips for bloggers of all genre and no matter how long you have been blogging for you will find these really helpful.
