Blindsight starts off a bit confusing but I quickly got into it. Both Hunter and Erin have lots of secrets and I'm anxious for them all to come to light as the story unfolds. I'm pleased I waited to read this until I had the whole series.

Unfortunately, this was just one of those books that sounded so good in theory, but just didn't translate well into print.

Here we have Hunter, who for what I can gather, is a photographer of erotic images of women, with a secret Erin has yet to discover.

The book starts with a prologue that never really gets explained in the book, although I assume it will be at some point in the series. Nearly all of the book is from Erin's point of view, but then there are a couple of chapters in another character's perspective and I'm not 100% sure who that person is. I mean the ending may have explained it a little bit but I do feel a little more clarity is needed, especially considering this is such a short book.

The story felt choppy, flicking from one scene to another, for example, in one scene Erin is in a waiting room, but it doesn't explain what she's there for, because the last thing we read was that she fell asleep in Hunters bed.

There is some improvement needed throughout with the sentence structures, which I feel would have helped make the story flow better.

I also couldn't get a sense of the characters personalities and that actually made it difficult to warm to Hunter. For me he needed to be likeable in order for him to be able to get away with his actions and demands from Erin. He employed her as his PA and virtually straight away insinuates he wants more from her.

The word 'Love' is also mentioned and I never actually got any sense of the love, lust maybe, but definitely not love. Again I think this all boils down to not feeling the character's personality.

WTF have I just read? This book has left me completely confused and with a billion unanswered questions!! The whole story was wrapped in mystery and left me wanting to know what the hell was going on.

When Erin and Hunter first met there was an instant attraction that couldn't be ignored, especially by Hunter, so it wasn't long before things got steamy. Before I knew it the pair were head over heels for each other. As this was only the first part of the story, I felt that I didn't really get to know Hunter and Erin that well and as they were both so secretive, I felt as though I needed to know much more about them before I could decide how I truly felt about the pair. I also struggled to fully invest in Erin and Hunters relationship because unfortunately I did not feel any chemistry between the two and I thought their relationship seemed to develop way too quickly. Despite this, I am intrigued by the pair so I may change my mind as the series continues.

I have been left utterly baffled by this book and with an ending that made me want to throw my kindle at the wall, I can't wait to read the next book in the series. It's definitely one that has piqued my interest.

I don't quite know where to begin with describing this book. I could probably sum it up in one word 'intriguing'. All I can say is the title is very apt considering the content and the way the book reads.

The book starts with an interesting prologue and then the story kicks in.

Hunter and Erin meet on a crowded pavement where Erin and her errant heels leave her heading for a busy road, where hunter saves her from falling. The attraction is instant and it leads instantly to a job offer for Erin which I found really fast, even for the best romance.

Another word for you is 'confusing' now please don't take this as the book isn't good, it literally skirts around everything, Hunters obvious secret and previous life, it's a bit like you are given a bit of everything and nothing at the same time and I feel the author had to be so illusive to deliver that stinker of a cliffhanger at the end.

It's a great testament to a writer to deliver this kind of book and keep the reader hooked, it's a relatively short read so it's quick and to the point, which I found essential for this mysterious read.

This was a fairly short, quick read. I thought it was an intriguing enough first instalment to this series.

For some reason, I went into this thinking it would be a dark read, but it wasn't really. I wasn't too disappointed by this though as the book I actually got was fairly enjoyable.

I enjoyed the way this book played out. The character's initial meeting seemed innocent. He came across as being a nice enough guy but then you started to get little hints that maybe he isn't all that he seems, that he has secrets. For the majority of the book, I felt like I was waiting for the penny to drop, waiting to find out what it is he may be hiding. Its not until the end of the book that you find out what he has kept secret. You don't get the full story though, you only get a little taste. This also ends this instalment on a cliff-hanger -one that I was not at all expecting. I'm looking forward to reading the next book to find out more
