The final part of season 4 wrapping up the battles against the bount in the real world before relocating the action to soul society for season 5. The thing that stands out in this volume is that fan fav's kira and hisagi are given some well deserved and much overdue screen time. As I mentioned in a previous review this season's main plus point is that it serves to develop the main and secondary charecters, however I do maintain that this and indeed the whole bount saga are uncatigorically the best of the bleach filler arcs.

Well as it looks like the final battle with the Bounts is drawing near the Soul Reapers find out the Bounts hideout and everybody proceeds to attack. Even though being a filler arc the story has really been dragged out to create more episodes, even with that Uryu has been left out of the story and you barely see him even when he pops up. Also the english dub actor for Chad has a lazy voice.

What to expect - Great new Opening and Closing, 12 Episodes on 3 discs, Mediocre English Dub, Filler!, Barely any Uryu and a disappointing ending. Though for under £8 it's still great value.

This set of twelve episodes continues the Bleach anime's Bount filler arc and while it is still nowhere near as good as the proper story, these episodes are still very entertaining. The episodes here see the Bount begin their plan to use the souls of living humans to enhance their already considerable strength and in so doing come into conflict with Ichigo, his friends and reinforcements from the Soul Society.

The Bount filler arc has definitely been an interesting and enjoyable storyline and these twelve episodes are probably the best that this arc has produced so far. The episodes include some nice fights and some interesting backstory for the Bounts as a hole and the one called Go Koga.

On the downside the animation, while generally still good, does seem to repeat the same shots far more than the series proper. As well as this the English dub voice for Chad inexplicably changes, despite him being voiced by the same voice actor. These problems, as well as the usual filler issues of pretty much everything that happens being meaningless in the grand scheme of things, means that the best I could give this set is four out of five, despite it being a lot better than some other filler that I have seen.
