But his forte is writing about the struggle between the forces of Light and Darkness in a world filled with men who are truly noble, and different phylum of folks like elves, and dwarves, and other noble folk who aren't human, but noble nonetheless.
Mr. Peterson deals with the panoramic battle between God and Lucifer, he includes many Archangels, but not in a way it will hit you in the head! The Dark Lord (Lucifer) has many followers, and is always plotting to overthrow the forces of the Light - this time to conquer the world by dragon attacks.
Ah, but there are forces of good on the earth too - such as Grayhawk, Blademaster of Norda. He is of the warrior tribe that goes through rigorous and dangerous training that makes the Blademasters the elite warriors and they are true and good.
In Keltan, the king is murdered, along with his young sons, by his brother coveting the crown, kingdom, and the hot queen. He is a follower of the Dark Lord.
What the covetous murderer didn't realize is the king's oldest son was out with Grayhawk and others, and when they return to the kingdom after some adventures, take care of the evil in the kingdom.
Grayhawk must go for further training to become of the higher order, like a Templar, who becomes part of a unique and elite warrior force for the Light.
They are given a mission: The Dark Lord is trying to conquer the world via hatching clatches of dragon eggs - they are nasty creatures (although an archangel tells them not all dragons are evil - and I second that). But the ones with the Dard Lord are out to kill.
Grayhawk and his men travel distances to fight their mission to derail the Dark Lord's nasty plan.
Filled with humor, action, chivalry, love, and great cameraderie, Blademaster of Norda fills the void for this genre, and he does it flawlessly. This is the first of a trilogy, and I for one, cannot wait for the next in the Blademaster series.
Mr. Peterson is an excellent writer who knows his audience and ensnares the reader from page one.
A great, exciting read!
They all come together with a common goal: to rid the world of the 2nd coming of dragons on this earth. The Dark Lord has dragon eggs that the group must find and destroy while also killing off two of the creatures already in existence. Believe me, there is never a dull moment in Blademaster of Norda. Highly recommended reading!
