5.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining short story. 26 Dec. 2011
By Clark D. Goble - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This short story provides an entertaining prequel to the novels that feature Kron Darkbow. I enjoyed the glimpse into his younger days as a prison warden. I was lucky to be able to download it for free. Good read!

5.0 out of 5 stars A GOOD ADDITIONAL STORY 14 Sept. 2011

I enjoyed it very much. I really look forward to anything Ty Johnson writes. This story is in addition to not really a part of his previous books. ENJOY
3.0 out of 5 stars Acceptable 17 Nov. 2012

Decent story, needs an editor. This prequel was not as engaging as the Kron Darkbow trilogy proper. That said the story was engaging and well written.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too short, don't bother. 28 Mar. 2011
By Fat Bald Guy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Having read the other novels in The Kobalos Trilogy, I expected this to provide a deeper insight into the protaganist's past and give some depth and back story to his upbringing. Rather we get about a chapter's worth covering a single incident in the character's past and that's the extent of it. really this is a short story more than a book.

Very disappointing.
