Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps is made up of mini stories and a slightly longer Superboy story at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed all the tales and colourful art and would reccomend to comic book fans. You could say this book is a little pointless and arguabaly just for completists but I personally found it very enjoyable and in some ways a more fun read than the actual main Blackest Night book.

A brillaint addition to my Collection of green lantern, this book is a collection of mini storys from a member or members of each of the different corps (green, red, yellow, blue, indigo, violet, orange) a must have in my mind

I read the two main books in the blackest night story arc, 'Blackest Night' and 'Blackest Night Green Lantern,' and loved them. Looking for more about the background I picked this book up. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The book is made up of a number of stand alone background episodes featuring lanterns from the different corps. The problem is that the episodes are almost without fail of an embarrassingly low narrative standard. They are a lot more childish than the main books and frankly shouldn't be marketed under the 'Blackest Night' brand because they are in no way of even close to the same quality.

Do not buy this book.
