Here is the new USB rechargeable bike light by Black Widow. It fits to the handlebars of your bike in seconds and then clips off as required. Clip it off in the morning and recharge on your work pc or clip it off at night and recharge at home. Any standard PC or laptop will have a suitable USB Port. One recharge will last most commuters all week. The indicator light is green when charging. When charging is complete the indicator turns red. For a Super Full Charge you can leave the light plugged in for a further six hours. (DO NOT OVERTIME CHARGE FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE BATTERY). Black Widow Rechargeable Lights have the following functions: 1) A single bright white LED. 2) 3 Modes: Flashing - Steady - Off 3) 8-9 hours runtime in flashing mode. 4) 4 to 4.5 hours runtime in steady mode. 5) Low Battery indicator with auto shut-off 6) High Quality NI-MH Battery inside 7) Easy charger and Auto-Charge cut-off 8) Quick release bracket oversized for bars between 22 and 32mm.

The light is massive and unwieldy, with an enormous cover for the usb port that is unnecessary and looks a bit stupid.
Having a rechargeable light sounds like a good idea - but in reality it will run out when it is dark and you're far from home. The light also gets progressively dimmer as the charge draws down, significantly reducing the actual battery time in terms of how long you can use it and still be safe.
Modern LED lights last for ages, are much brighter, and probably do not contribute significantly more to environmental damage - if that's what you're worried about, get a dynamo.
On top of that, the plastic fitting to the handlebars is badly designed and hard to use, and the light (designed to come off the fitting) falls off the fitting at the slightest knock, creating dangerous situations when on the road.
This light is a nuisance!
I was actually glad when it got stolen so I could get something else.
