From the Editor

On the Dark Web, no one knows your name.

Recently, the FBI has seen a rise in drug trade and violence, and it all leads back to one black market site. An expert in cybercrime, Special Agent Lisa Tanchik is tasked with taking down the operation. But the criminal mastermind who runs the site, Nate Fallon, is far more elusive than she anticipated. To track him down she must go deep cover in the darkest corners of the net and lure out the creator. As she forms a bond with the creator, Lisa begins to almost respect his idealistic mission statement for a free market, even though his naivete is about to bring him nothing but trouble. Now Lisa must not only capture Nate but also find a way to convince him to help end the violence.

Black Nowhere grabbed me from the start. I was drawn into a world where no rules almost felt right. But when you blindly trust that all people when left to their own devices are inherently kind, there will always be someone waiting to take advantage. As I watched Lisa infiltrate the Dark Web and reveal even darker crimes, I couldn’t help but admire and root for her.
